Digital Super 16mm Camera kit.
BMMCC Custom Vintage
This is the closest to a Digital Bolex you can get.
This custom rig has been built around the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera that has a native Super 16mm Fairchild sensor that is renowned for its filmic look. Same sensor in the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera OG, but this camera offers 50 and 60P and full size HDMI output. We have added a Altcine OLPF filter to reduce Moire and anti aliasing. Paired this with a retro 3D printed Digital Bolex type back, an Aaton 16mm type setup, an Angenuieux 17-68mm declicked and setup by Stephen at Metro Film.
Capable of 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60p 1080P in Pro Res HQ or CinemaDNG Raw at 3:1 compression that offers over an hour record time at 60P. The EVF converts HDMi to SDI if needed.
Audio via 3.5mm as well 3.5mm headphone is optional. We have a 9x16 rig as well with a 6" 2000nit monitor as an option. Priced from $300 +GST per day

The Sony EX-1 and EX-1R is a workhorse and offers 1080 with internal recording and HD-SDI output. includes Wide angle lens, zoom pan handle, tripod, 2x SxS cards, batteries and mains adapter. 1080 up to 30P or up to 60i HD-SDI video output.

5 x kits of BMPCC 4K (Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera) are available with many lens options.
The camera captures amazing images in 4K Pro Res, BRAW or ProRes Raw codecs to 500gb to 2tb SSD media cards.
Each camera has a cage, and for our use is paired with PIX-E7, Portkeys, or TV logic monitors so we can turn HDMI into HD-SDI.
Camera kits from $150+GST per day with lens options additional.
We use these kits for our Masterclass series, for HD video live stream and 4K record if needed.

The Blackmagic Design Production Camera 4K offers a Super 35mm sensor, 6G SDI video output as well as Pro Res of Cinema DNG Raw recording. 2 kits available incl one with handheld rig.
